Early Herbert Terry Anglepoise 1209 Table Lamp
Early Anglepoise 1209 produced by Herbert Terry & Sons, Redditch, England in the 1930’s.
This particular model is the tallest model of Anglepoise table lamps, it stands at 115cm. Featuring a round black lacquered lampshade, long adjustable arms and a rare prototype tall cast iron base with wrinkle finish paintwork.
Good original condition with signs of use from an industrial setting.
The lampshade has areas of paint-loss and a few small dings. The arms and springs have age related patina and the base has a few tiny white marks to the original black wrinkle finished paintwork.
Fully functional, the lamp adjusts and holds positions well.
Recently rewired with 3 core black cloth flex and a brass bulb holder.
Takes a B22 bulb.
