Mid century diabolo desk lamp.
Model 6003 Designed & produced by Solbergs Fabrikker of Norway in the 1950’s.
A mottled black paintwork finish to the Diabolo shade with a brass adjustable neck, mounted on a two tiered cast iron base.
In good original condition with some traces of use to the paintwork and a small nick to the shade. There is patina from use to the brass parts.
This model is currently on display in the Norwegian Nasjonalmuseet, the National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design.
